SUNSEA Successfully Undertook YD/T1082 Communications Industry Standard Technology Exchange

From August 20 to 21, 2009, the YD/T1082 Communication Industry Standard Technology Exchange undertaken by SUNSEA Telecommunications was held in the Pastoral Farm, Shenzhen, China. As participants of the event, 29 representatives from Guangzhou Institute under China Telecom, Huawei Technologies and SUNSEA Telecommunications had detailed discussions on the draft of the standard of “Technical requirements and test methods for the protection against overvoltages and overcurrents and the suitability in basic environment on access network equipment”, and division of work was performed on the standard in the future.

SUNSEA Telecommunications is one of the drafters of this industrial standard. The fact that SUNSEA Telecommunications undertook the meeting will further promote SUNSEA Telecommunications to join hand in the standard work by TC9 Work Group under China Communications Standards Association (CCSA); in the mean time, it provides a good opportunity for exchange on the new requirements for the protection against overvoltages and overcurrents on access network equipment under the circumstance of 3G environment and large-scale FTTH application, and sets a clear direction for the R&D and tests of the relevant products of SUNSEA Telecommunications.
